About

As an 11 year old I lived poorly, pretending to serve guests outside of my country trailer home, down a dirt road where the neighbors were a mile away. As I became a teen I grew more interest in food and hospitality. In my young adult years I still had this natural desire to serve and help others, but I faced homelessness making it hard on my dreams to be reality. In my storm I found family Promise, where volunteers seem more life family members, and the congregations that make you feel like you belong to all of them regardless of how you spend your Sunday morning (I wasn’t attending church at all at the time). I was apart of a family and they never broke their promise. So here I am today, living my dream of serving and supporting my community!

I will be sharing volunteer opportunities, instructions, ideas, and videos on any information helpful to you as a volunteer. After all without you there is no promise, only families in need. Let’s work together to uplift our communities and keeping them out of poverty!
